Christopher Ravenscroft (born 1946) is an English actor renowned for his extensive work in stage, film, and television, most notably for his portrayal of the principled Detective Inspector Mike Burden in the long-running ITV crime drama series The Ruth Rendell Mysteries (also known as The Inspector Wexford Mysteries), where he appeared opposite George Baker from 1987 to 2000.
