Janhavi Asthana is an Indian cinematographer, producer and writer working in independent narrative film.
A graduate of Prague Film School, she is a member of the Indian Women Cinematographers Collective (IWCC), and founder of Sitara Studios, a women-led production house.
Her work is rooted in coming-of-age narratives and the use of food as a way of interpersonal storytelling.
