Biography

Jane Fernande Mayer, known as Jane Marnac, was born on February 8, 1892, in Brussels, Belgium, and died on December 2, 1976, in Paris (16th arrondissement), France. She was a Belgian actress. She performed in hundreds of theatrical roles and sang in numerous operettas, notably Noël Coward's "Au temps des valses" in 1930 at the Apollo Theatre. She appeared in several films, including "Paris Béguin" with Jean Gabin. In 1927, she married an English officer, Major Keith Trevor. Jane Marnac, along with her husband and Camille Wyn, managed the Apollo Theatre in 1929 and 1930. She died on December 2, 1976. Her ashes were placed in the Père-Lachaise columbarium (niche 17787).
