My name is Maria Nicole H. De Chavez I'm a 15 year old who's always been drawn to literature and the art of storytelling; it could be through poem, novels or even scripts. Even from a young age I've always loved the idea of letting your imagination loose and express to the world. Writing has always been more than a hobby for me—it's what made me feel alive and happy.
Though I've always left my work in a piece of paper or sometimes posted online, I've always dreamed that my creativity and imagination can be somehow made into reality through films, the combination of writing and visual storytelling can create experiences that you don't really get from reading through paper or a screen. Filming can make something that came from my notebook into a bigger work of art; with visuals, sounds and emotions that only cinema can capture.
I've always seen creativity as freedom, and my goal has always just been being happy in what I do while also being able to share it with other people and for my work leave a lasting impact on them.
