While painting her new house, Sarah finds an old love letter from 1947 written to a man named Benjamin Bridgeman. Not thinking anything of it, she throws it in the trash and goes on with her day, but something has changed. Sarah begins to have dreams about this man from the past and is driven to find out more about him. What she doesn't know is that across town his grandson suddenly finds himself having strange feelings that are distracting him from his daily life. After a series of mishaps and misadventures Sarah and the young Ben meet and find a connection that only destiny could create.
