Philippe Lagrange, private detective, is an unscrupulous man. He believes neither in good nor in evil, but only in himself. Many women revolve around his life, and it is often subtle blackmail that keeps them tied. Shot with great skill by Frank Simon, the film brings to mind the magical and murky climate of the great noir cinema.
