Overview

In the year of 2327, the matriarchal society has developed into a scientism-centered society. Marriages of human beings are matched based on genes. Love has died. Tian Qian runs into a mysterious clone man in her usual underground bookstore, who has been rattling her mind the whole time. She believes she might have fallen in love as people once did. Regardless of the difference in human species, she decides to ask her mother who is in charge of the genetic engineering to modify the perimeter settings of the clone man, in order to match him to her and make surrogacy between them possible. Surprisingly, her all-time strong mother says yes to her request…The film is adapted from Wang Jinkang’s science fiction novel of the same name.
