Madiha, the wife of police officer Mounir, is bored with country life. She is overjoyed when her husband tells her that he is moving to Cairo. In her new apartment, she pressures her father to sell the jewelry he inherited from her mother to meet her successive demands. She gradually becomes immersed in drug use and buying clothes, and surrenders to Adham's attempts to flirt with her.
