A father lost in time, a son lost in life.
Bahram Adib, once a celebrated volleyball champion, returns to Iran after many years abroad to see his only son, Saeed. His former wife, Homa, now works as a rehabilitation-specialist at the Red Crescent orthopedic center. On meeting Homa and discovering that Saeed has run away from home following illness and emotional distress, Bahram and Homa embark on a city-wide search for their son. Along this journey, Bahram comes to reassess his life, the meaning of family, love, and homeland.
