Vincent, a promising artist, is ready to make the definitive leap to fame; for this he sets his sights on the Van Cleff Art Gallery, to be more precise he sets his sights on its manager Susan with whom he falls madly in love, but the good Vincent harbors a secret, a childhood subjected to his overprotective mother has turned the artist into a misogynist who spends his free time taking women of dissolute life to bed and then killing them.
