Present to the Highest Pudding (Robert Jan Stips Plays Supersister)

Overview

On July 5, 2015, Robert Jan Stips gave an experimental recital at the Beauforthuis in Austerlitz. Playing on no fewer than three grand pianos, he performed the first three albums by his longtime favorite band, Supersister. It was a challenge even for a seasoned musician like Stips—a true “tour de force”—because, of course, you can’t just rehearse something like that at home. A real leap of faith, then, and rightly captured on this DVD/CD, whose title, *Present To The Highest Pudding*, is, of course, a combination of the titles of the first three Supersister albums.
