When Pirjo Heikkilä embarrasses herself in public at a charity event, she begins to believe that she needs a change of scenery. Pirjo learns a surprising secret about her family that leads her to Sweden. Pirjo sets off on her journey convinced that her true life awaits her in Stockholm—surrounded by royalty, new friends, and greater human dignity. But the trip turns out to be anything but dignified. She faces one awkward situation after another and an endless need to appear more Swedish than she really is.
