Taking a Load Off

Overview

Ryan Irwin (Jack Waters) is a stressed-out year-one law student. When his parents noticed he was losing weight and resting poorly at night, they sent him to a mind, wellness, and balance retreat. There, he meets Paul Portnoy (Cliff Jensen), a wellness professional who teaches Ryan that there's more to life than grades and the work grind, and Taking a Load Off is necessary. Nicolas Bass (Bruce Jones) tried to make it work with his wife, but in the end, their marriage failed. He's in the garage packing up when his neighbor, Harry Humphrey (Carter Woods), stops by to say goodbye. They've lived next door to each other for years, but aside from a few block parties and get-togethers, they didn't know each other well. That changes when Harry shows Nicolas the kindness he craves.
