Teresa, a Catholic girl, is torn between the desire she thinks she feels for Maria, her long-time friend, and her faith, which she is no longer sure she has. Teresa is increasingly consumed by the world around her, by her confirmation dress and by the moment that is brewing in this closed space: the confession of her sin.
