Koo Tai-cheung is the boss of Tai Luen Company. His son, Koo Man-kei, has just returned from studying overseas. Though he wants to be a teacher, his father forces him to work in the company where he meets Ting So-ha, a secretary. They become intimate, arousing the displeasure of cousin, Lucy Pak, whom Tai-cheung has secretly chosen to be his daughter-in-law.
