The game pitted the high-powered St. Louis Rams, making their first Super Bowl appearance since moving from Los Angeles, against the resilient Tennessee Titans, who were also playing in their first-ever Super Bowl. But beyond the dramatic ending, the game was also the culmination of one of the most improbable journeys in NFL history: Rams quarterback Kurt Warner.
