Overview

Larry Cambell is a merciless womanizer and ruthless businessman. Now the sonny boy wants to sell his brother Roy's new invention in the United States. Under the pretext of making the American business perfect, Larry asks Roy to sign a contract. In reality, he wants to pocket the proceeds alone. A short time later, Larry is dead: he is found in his apartment with his skull bashed in. Not only his brother, who was cheated out of his share, is a suspect, but also the lawyer Ryder, who lost his wife to Larry. Clare Norman had just quarrelled with the dead man over his numerous womanizing affairs and he was also not on good terms with gossip columnist Jo Mitchell.
