The servant (Othman) falls in love with one of the servants. Her mistress finds out and fires them both. (Othman) works in many professions but does not achieve success. In the end, he works as a telegraph deliverer. Due to his extreme laziness, he delays the delivery of an important telegram to a wealthy man, which disrupts a deal on the stock exchange. The stock exchange flourishes and the wealthy man makes a lot of money. He looks for (Othman) to reward him.
