The wedding is in full swing, and classmates are rehearsing in the school auditorium—until Chen Guixian’s daughter suddenly collapses. Abandoning the wedding without hesitation, Chen rushes to the hospital, only to be hit with devastating news: her daughter was born with liver insufficiency and urgently needs a transplant. Without giving her fiancé Lao Huo an explanation, Chen decides to donate part of her own liver. But tests reveal she suffers from severe fatty liver due to years of driving and stress. A nurse tells her it can be reversed through exercise. Determined, Chen begins rigorous workouts and efforts to qualify as a donor. Meanwhile, Lao Huo secretly goes for a compatibility test, posing as her husband. The death of a young patient in the next bed shakes Chen’s already fragile resolve, as the looming risk of surgery fills her with dread...
