Hannah catches her husband Sebastian in flagrante delicto with her best friend. She impulsively leaves for Spain and meets Santiago on the plane, who takes her under his wing. At his hacienda, she encounters El Loco, a black stallion she wants to save from being slaughtered. With El Loco, Hannah embarks on a 200-kilometer ride through Andalusia to San José, near Almería, where a nature park offers the opportunity to release horses into the wild.
