Wanda runs away from her Gypsy camp, trying to live as a dancer. In a dream sequence she meets Ruprecht and Curt, who both fall in love with her. Ruprecht, the jealous one, is shot by Wanda. She wakes up realizing that Jarow, her admirer from the Gypsy camp, has found her again.
