The basements of the Municipal Theater of São Paulo are home to a mysterious and deformed creature, The Phantom of the Opera. Passionate about music, he is delighted to hear Cristine Dae perform Fosca's aria, by Brazilian Carlos Gomes. But what is the line between admiration and envy? Unable to contain his impulses, the Phantom decides to eliminate the soprano and makes sure this happens in front of a packed audience.
